Consultations for facial lines and wrinkles (Botox)

What can a consultation for facial lines and wrinkles cover?

Dr Ryan can assess concerns such as forehead lines, frown lines and lines around the eyes. He will look at how the lines change with expression, how they appear at rest and whether skin quality or volume changes contribute.

What is the difference between lines that appear when I move and lines that are visible at rest?

Expression lines appear or deepen when the underlying muscles move. Lines visible at rest can also reflect changes in the skin or underlying facial support. Both can occur together, which affects the options and the degree of change you might expect.

Do I need an examination before a treatment decision?

An initial conversation can help clarify your goals. An in-person assessment lets your doctor examine the area, check suitability and discuss the expected effects and risks before recommending a plan.

How do I arrange a routine review after treatment with Botox?

Follow the timing in your aftercare instructions. The clinic’s published routine review window for upper facial lines is 14–21 days after treatment. Ask the team about the timing for other areas or if you are unsure what to book. Contact the clinic about a review.

Dermal fillers and facial balancing

What are dermal fillers used for?

Dermal fillers are injectable products used to add volume or change the shape and support of specific areas. Dr Ryan assesses the treatment area alongside the surrounding face before recommending a product or amount. Dermal filler treatment guide.

Which areas can be assessed for filler at Norwich Aesthetics Clinic?

The clinic lists consultations for the lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, tear troughs, lines around the mouth, nasolabial folds, marionette lines and selected concerns about nose shape. Explore filler treatment areas.

How much does dermal filler cost in Norwich at your clinic?

For several facial areas, including cheeks and chin, Norwich Aesthetics Clinic lists £295 for the first 1 mL syringe and £265 per subsequent 1 mL syringe. Lip, tear trough and nose treatments have separate prices. The total depends on the area and agreed plan. Clinic price list.

How much does lip filler cost?

The price list shows £225 for 0.5 mL and £325 for 1 mL of lip filler. The clinician will discuss which amount, if any, suits your lip shape and goals. Lip filler information · Clinic price list.

Can lip filler be used for subtle definition?

Lip filler can be considered for shape, definition, asymmetry or volume. The plan takes account of the starting shape, surrounding features and your preferences. Swelling can temporarily make lips look fuller than they will once settled.

When might cheek filler be considered?

Cheek filler may be considered when loss of volume in the front of the cheek contributes to shadowing, or when definition around the cheekbone is the main concern. The appropriate area depends on your anatomy. Cheek filler.

What is the difference between chin and jawline filler?

Chin filler can change the projection or shape of the chin. Jawline filler can change definition along the lower jaw. The clinician considers the side profile and the relationship between the chin, jaw and other features. Chin filler · Jawline filler.

What is tear trough filler, and who might be unsuitable?

Tear trough filler is used to address selected hollows between the lower eyelid and upper cheek. Prominent bags, puffiness or loose skin may make it unsuitable. The assessment includes the cheek because changes there can contribute to under-eye shadowing. Tear trough assessment.

How much does tear trough filler cost?

The clinic lists £325 for tear trough filler. An assessment is needed to establish whether the hollow itself, the cheek, skin quality or another factor is driving the concern. Tear trough filler · Clinic price list.

Can filler treat dark circles under the eyes?

Filler may soften a shadow caused by a hollow in a suitable patient. Dark circles can also reflect pigmentation, visible blood vessels, thin skin or bags, so identifying the cause comes first. The appropriate option may be a different treatment or no treatment.

What are nasolabial folds and marionette lines?

Nasolabial folds run from the sides of the nose towards the mouth. Marionette lines run down from the corners of the mouth. Both can reflect changes in surrounding volume and support, so the assessment may extend beyond the visible fold. Nasolabial folds · Marionette lines.

What is perioral rejuvenation?

Perioral rejuvenation is a plan for the area around the mouth. Dr Ryan may assess upper-lip lines, nasolabial folds and marionette lines together. A plan for one specific line may be more appropriate when the concern is localised. Perioral rejuvenation · Perioral line filler.

What can non-surgical rhinoplasty change?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty uses filler to adjust selected nose contours by adding volume. It cannot reduce the size of the nose or correct a breathing problem. The nose is a higher-risk injection area, and suitability and alternatives should be discussed in person. Non-surgical rhinoplasty.

How long does dermal filler last?

Duration depends on the product, placement, treated area and your individual response. Ask for a range for the specific area and product proposed at your consultation. The clinician can assess any remaining filler before recommending further treatment.

What are the risks of dermal filler?

Swelling, bruising and tenderness can occur. Other risks include infection, lumps and asymmetry. A blocked blood vessel is a serious complication that can injure skin and, in rare cases, affect vision. Ask your clinician about risks specific to the area and what to do if you develop symptoms. NHS advice on choosing a practitioner.

Can all fillers be dissolved?

Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with a specific enzyme after clinical assessment. Other products, including PLLA, cannot be dissolved in the same way. Tell the clinician the product and date of any previous treatment if you know them.

Full face rejuvenation

What is full face rejuvenation?

Full face rejuvenation is an individual treatment plan based on how the features work together. The assessment may cover volume loss, changes in facial support, contours and skin quality, with the aim of deciding which areas, if any, would benefit from treatment. Full face rejuvenation.

Does full face rejuvenation mean treating every area?

The clinician prioritises the areas most relevant to your concerns. For example, assessing cheek support may help explain a shadow or fold further down the face. Some areas may be left untreated.

Can full face rejuvenation be done in stages?

Yes. The clinic may plan one appointment or several, depending on the areas, products and response. Staging can give you and your clinician time to see how an initial change settles before deciding on further treatment.

How much does full face rejuvenation cost?

The full face rejuvenation page lists filler at £295 for the first 1 mL and £265 per additional 1 mL. Your total depends on which areas are treated and the amount agreed. Ask Dr Ryan for an estimate for your plan. Full face rejuvenation and fees.

How does full face rejuvenation differ from a surgical facelift?

A non-surgical plan may address selected changes in volume, contour and skin quality. A surgical facelift can reposition tissues and address excess skin. If significant laxity is the main concern, discuss whether a surgical opinion would be more appropriate.

Profhilo

What is Profhilo?

Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid treatment used to address concerns about skin quality. The clinic assesses whether it may suit concerns such as loss of elasticity or crepey texture. Profhilo treatment information.

What is the difference between Profhilo and dermal filler?

Both can involve hyaluronic acid, but their formulations and purposes differ. Standard Profhilo is used for skin-quality goals. Volumising dermal filler is placed to add support, volume or definition to particular areas.

How many Profhilo sessions does the clinic offer?

The clinic describes an initial course of two or three sessions around one month apart. The number is decided at assessment. It lists a maintenance appointment around four to five months where appropriate. Profhilo course information.

How much does Profhilo cost?

When might I notice a change after Profhilo?

Any change is assessed over the course and subsequent weeks. The response varies with your skin and the treatment plan. Ask when your clinician would expect to assess the outcome for you.

What should I consider before Profhilo treatment?

Ask about suitability, expected changes, side effects and what to do if you are concerned. Temporary swelling, bruising or raised areas at injection sites can occur. Tell your clinician about previous injectables, allergies and current medicines.

Polynucleotides and under-eye skin quality

What are polynucleotide injections?

Polynucleotides are products containing chains of nucleotides. The clinic uses injectable formulations for selected skin-quality concerns, including around the eyes. The clinician can explain the proposed product and the evidence for the area being treated. Polynucleotide treatment information.

When might polynucleotides be considered for the under-eye area?

They may be discussed when fine lines or skin texture are the main concerns. Under-eye hollows, pigment, visible vessels and bags can have different causes and may require a different approach.

How do polynucleotides differ from tear trough filler?

Polynucleotides are considered for skin-quality concerns. Tear trough filler adds volume in selected patients with an anatomical hollow. Your clinician checks the cheek, eyelid and skin before advising which option, if any, suits the concern.

Do polynucleotides help all types of under-eye dark circles?

Any improvement depends on what causes the dark appearance. Pigmentation, shadowing, visible blood vessels and puffiness can look similar. An assessment helps establish whether changing skin quality is likely to make a meaningful difference.

How many polynucleotide sessions are offered?

The clinic lists an initial three-session course, typically with two to three weeks between sessions. Its treatment page describes a maintenance session around five to six months, depending on the plan. Polynucleotide course information.

How much do under-eye polynucleotides cost?

The clinic lists £700 for the initial three-session course and £285 for a single maintenance session. Confirm the treatment area and product included before booking. Polynucleotide fees.

What should I tell the clinician before polynucleotide treatment?

Tell your clinician about allergies, including any fish allergy, and any previous injections in the area. The source and suitability depend on the specific formulation. Ask for the product name and its ingredient information before deciding.

What can recovery after polynucleotides involve?

Small raised injection points, swelling, tenderness or bruising can occur. Effects around the eyes may be visible, so discuss recovery time if you have an event coming up. The length of recovery varies by product and person.

What is Sculptra?

Sculptra is an injectable treatment containing poly-L-lactic acid, or PLLA. It stimulates collagen over time and may be considered for selected concerns about facial volume or firmness. Dr Ryan Taylor assesses suitability. Sculptra treatment information.

What is the difference between Sculptra and hyaluronic acid filler?

Hyaluronic acid filler can add volume directly to a selected area. Sculptra works through a gradual collagen response, so it is planned and assessed over a longer period. The choice depends on the change you want and your anatomy.

How does Sculptra differ from Profhilo?

Sculptra contains PLLA and may be considered for gradual changes in facial support and volume. Standard Profhilo contains hyaluronic acid and is used for skin-quality goals. A consultation can help establish which concern should be addressed first.

How many Sculptra appointments or vials will I need?

The clinic usually plans Sculptra over two to three appointments. The number of vials is decided separately and depends on the areas assessed, your goals and how you respond. Dr Ryan will explain the estimated course and cost before you decide. Sculptra course planning.

How much does Sculptra cost?

The clinic’s Sculptra page lists £450 for one vial, £850 for two, £1,250 for three and £1,600 for four. These are vial prices across the planned course. Your estimate should explain the number of vials and how they will be spread over appointments. Sculptra fees.

When will I see results after Sculptra?

The response develops over weeks and months. Fullness immediately after treatment can reflect swelling and the injected fluid. Your clinician assesses the change after the area has settled and the collagen response has had time to develop.

How long can Sculptra results last?

Results can last up to around two years in some patients. The extent and duration vary. Discuss the timing of any review or maintenance with Dr Ryan. Sculptra treatment information.
